But this is a modern AU.

He drink, he smokes, he swindles, he thieves, he mouths off, and he shags. He is unapologetic in his less-than-scrupulous morals.

He's missing a nipple, claimed ever so graciously by a tiger.

He went to boarding school at Eton, and attended Oxford.

Became a Colonel in the army before retiring to avoid being dishonorably discharged.

Has a favourite tart he visits named "FiFi", usually squanders a good portion of his pay on her too. If she wasn't available, there was also Véronique, until of course the Prof sent her off to Alaska.
